HQ Mortgage & Finance Ltd began trading in 2008 on the brink of the financial crisis which would send the mortgage market in to turmoil in the years to follow, it is a testament to the durability and adaptability of the company that HQ Mortgage & Finance managed not only to survive but to expand and grow consistently year after year during this period of economic uncertainty and instability.
Now, at a time where interest rates are at their lowest ever point and with lenders competing on cost, business is better than ever. We have expanded our network of experienced advisers to cover a large portion of the South West and even London as well as investing in our administration team. We have evolved in to a company that is committed to constantly adapting and improving all aspects of our business in a way that will benefit our clients and enhance our service offering. In line with this mindset, we are looking for like minded individuals that will prove to be assets to our company and join us in growing and developing as a mortgage advice service.
Our current preference is for brokers who can cover areas that include but are not exclusive to Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth, Bridgwater, Bournemouth, Newport and Cardiff.
A successful candidate will be fully CeMAP qualified, have 2 or more years of industry experience and hold Competent Adviser Status.
This role is with our administration team at our head office in Taunton, Somerset.
A successful candidate will be CeMAP qualified and/or display a good level of knowledge of the current mortgage market, you must be IT literate and have some experience in working with databases and various software such as Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Who We're Looking For
Our mortgage brokers must be focused entirely on achieving the best outcome for their customers, they must be ready to adapt working methods and explore new techniques and technologies in the aim of achieving greater efficiency and service standards. It would be advantageous if you had either an existing client base or some pre-established lead generation methods. You must be thorough in your work and ensure that you are able to follow regulatory procedure and be competent in back office processes. It is important that you have never been subject to a panel removal.
To be a part of our administration team, you must be IT literate, be comfortable and confident in using database software, the online systems of various banks and buildings societies as well as desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel. You must be able to manage your workflow in an efficient manner and aim to continually improve your processes to achieve this. Being pro-active in your work and using initiative will be a key factor in displaying your competence as a Mortgage Administrator and ultimately achieving success in your role.
